The DC18 solar air conditioners have been designed to make the best possible use of costly solar photovoltaic panels. The DC18 can use approximately 40% fewer solar panels than would be required by a standard AC-powered air condi4oner of the same max capacity running off of solar panels through an inverter. The system is perfect for residen4al, commercial, telecom, portable classrooms or offices, or remote facili4es where conven4onal or generator power is costly and/or unreliable.
